Poster Submission Requirements |
|
| |
- Submit abstracts with the following word-limit, 200 – 250 words max (without images, graphs, tables, references, communication lines)
- Deadline: 15th December 2011. (For professional poster presenters) Only submissions sent by e-mail will be accepted.
- Deadline: 31st December 2011. (For student poster presenters)Only submissions sent by e-mail will be accepted.
- Submission should clearly state the following:
- Specify Category: A / B Note: Under Graduate/Post-graduate Students to submit in Category B.
- Title of Poster
- Author(s): Category A submission should specify One Representative Author. Names of co-workers mentioned in submission will be included only in the publication. Category B submission should specify Max 3 Representative Authors. Other names will only be published.
- For Category A: Specify title of author: Dr./Prof./Mr./Ms. clearly with highest qualification, institution and country. E-mail & telephone number is mandatory.
- For Category B: Specify name of the institution/college and Supervisor name with designation.
- Acceptance of poster shall be informed by e-mail only with poster code.
- No correspondence shall be entertained for any poster rejected by the Organizers.
- Submissions whose authors who do not confirm their participation in attending the event personally will be rejected. It is essential for the main Author of Category A to be present for the event. Submissions for 'publication only' are not accepted for this event.

- Maximum Size of the poster: 90 cm Width and 150 cm Height.
- Only Vertical Formats accepted.
- The entire poster should be accommodated in this space.
- The Author should fix the poster one day before the conference in the designated areas.
- Any damage caused to the exhibition panels / venue installations during the event will be charged by the venue authorities on the poster presenter.
- The poster can only be removed on the last day of the event. Posters removed before the last session of the conference on Day 3 will not be evaluated / awarded certificates.

- The DUPHAT 2012 booklet shall have all the names (any number), but will indicate clearly the Three representative authors for Category B and One Author for Category A.
- At least one Author(s) to be present during the Poster Evaluation process.

Additional Options for Professional Poster Presenters |
|
| |
- Category A presenters can additionally present their poster as a short oral presentation for max 15 minutes. But this has to be specifically confirmed in correspondence. Acceptance for oral presentation will be intimated by email. Those accepted for oral should also display the poster. Posters not displayed will not be awarded certificates. Separate certificates for oral presentation will not be awarded.
- All expenses including travel, lodging, etc. to be taken care of by participant.
- Approved Professional Poster Presenters are required to register at a discounted price of AED 400/-, which includes conference pass, certificate and lunch.

Poster Awards |

- Certificates will be awarded to accepted posters that have been displayed at the event (max 3 authors in Category B and 1 author for Category A).
- Posters not displayed will not be entitled to receive certificates.
- The best posters will be awarded (Only 1 Award per poster) during the last session on Day 3.
